Our in-house prints are made optically: a negative image, projected onto negative paper, creates a positive print. Because slides are already positive images, putting them through our print machines would result in prints with inverted brightness and colors.
Thus, in order to create prints from slides, they must first be scanned digitally, then printed through our outlab. This results in prints and enlargements of very high quality, though at a greater monetary expense.
